About Us
Contract Technologies International Inc. (CTI), located in Schenectady New York, was first established in 1982 by President Mr. Long Tran, which became one of the industry's premier cable converter repair companies nationwide, known originally as Long Cable Electronics Inc. (L.C.E).
Throughout the 1980's, L.C.E.was one of the top leading converter repair facilities in the nation, providing high quality work and customer services to such MSO's as Time Warner, T.C.I, Comcast, Cablevision and many more nationwide.
By the 1990's, as the CATV industry started to grow and diversify into newer ventures and technology, Long Cable Electronics also redirected its focus to provide a wider array of products and services thus, Contract Technologies International, Inc. was established.
Today, CTI has become much more of a diversified company in providing the CATV Industry
with many more solutions and products to its everyday needs. We expanded our converter
repair program to include servicing Motorola Digital Set Tops as well as Cable Modems
and distribution of new and refurbished line and head end equipment, digital and
